“What are jewellery findings?”
Jewellery findings are essentially all those little bits and bobs which you add to jewellery to manufacture or assemble them. Most earrings need some form of standard ear wire or parts to which a pendant is attached to make the finished article. Similarly necklaces often use lobster clasps and split rings or jump rings to attach a pendant or stone etc to the chain. There are a huge variety of clasps, bails, loops, pins stems etc which are used both commercially by jewellery manufacturers, and by the adoring amateur who makes their own jewellery. Most jewellery craft shops sell them, or they are readily available over the internet.
